“Born in Paris, I spent my first seven years in Algeria. I devoted most of my professional activity to the airport sector. Passionate about discovering new lands, I traveled to Southeast Asia, among other places, meeting its people, their cultures, their traditions. I began personal writing by writing my travel stories, witnesses of my emotions, personal enrichment, explorations. This inclination for writing was forged over time. It imposed itself naturally, developed and materialized with the publication of my first book dedicated to my father, "Meeting my father, this stranger". The time had now come to think about a second life, a second wind after my professional career. Without leaving the field of writing, I trained as a public writer. New experiences, surprising and unusual encounters now mark the course of my existence, through this activity.

A new beginning, a new place to live. A challenge. This was Nicolas's plan, the goal he set for himself at the dawn of his 40th birthday. A desire, moreover, for new horizons, to shake up his daily routine. To break with the routine. His new path will encounter many pitfalls. He will fumble, stumble, hesitate, but will strive to bounce back against all odds. Triumphing over his doubts, his hesitations, his procrastination—this was his motivation, his driving force in moving to Berlin. He will be caught up in his flaws, which he still cannot shake. The story of a chaotic, winding journey through the vicissitudes of life, through romantic and friendly encounters that carry him forward without answering his questions. The hope of renewal remains at the end of the road, when he has understood what he is really looking for.
