Soubirout Fantel

Ando RANAIVOSOA

Born in Paris in 1941, Soubirout Fantel trained as a decorator (École Boulle). Married with two children, divorced, and now retired, he leads a rather chaotic yet dynamic life, spiritually, culturally, and psychologically. "In 1941, things weren't simple! And destinies aren't easy for those who refuse ideological conformity," he says. After a trajectory that could have been dramatic, "what ultimately emerges is the infinite happiness of having managed to remain true to a certain human dignity."

Gifted with an exceptional memory, Rémi, our hero, finds himself hired as a photographer for a mission on a lost continent by a mysterious client. He is to visit several sites of a supposedly extinct civilization. He will be assisted by two companions who, like him, have a secret double mission to carry out. Of course, things won't go as planned, as dark forces will disrupt everything. Each of them is playing a double or triple game, the true stakes of which Rémi is unaware. Each site will reveal discoveries that will completely overwhelm him. Everything will become even more unsettling when, along the way, he discovers a dying woman who appears to be deaf and mute. His life will never be the same again.
