Alain Jugnon

Alain Jugnon

Alain Jugnon seeks, seeks revolution in theater and revolution in the theater of writing. He seeks it in the texts of his friends Michel Surya, Amandine André, Jacques Sicard, Philippe Blanchon, and Jacques-Henri Michot. He seeks it in his books, in the books of Artaud, Bousquet, Beckett, Duras, or even Gombrowicz, Pasolini, Genet. And many others. He also seeks it with the thinkers who follow him every day, including Nietzsche, Deleuze, Derrida, Vuarnet, and Stiegler. "I am now entirely theater and thought from head to toe. Entirely and henceforth theater from mouth to sphincter, right and left hand. What I want: the writing of the theater I am becoming. That is: the theater of the writing that I am." What I can: read Nietzsche and read Artaud as if they had prepared together at the Vieux Colombier the last performances of the theater of cruelty. » Date of publication: March 1, 2024 Order
