Valery Molet

Born on February 18, 1968, Valéry Molet is a graduate of the École Nationale d'Administration (ENA) and a historian by training. A writer, he has published around twenty works: novels, short stories, essays, and poetry. He founded and has presided over the publishing house Sans Escale since 2017.

In *Perpetuity for Defenders of Infinity*, Valéry Molet passionately explores Louis Aragon's unfinished and mythical work, *The Defense of Infinity*. Through a scholarly and insightful analysis, he illuminates the poetic and philosophical stakes of a text that dreamed of capturing infinity. Acclaimed by critics for his first essay, *The Call of the Ruins*, devoted to Pierre Drieu la Rochelle, Valéry Molet continues his work on the great literary figures of the 20th century, confronting their utopias and disillusionments. This book, at the crossroads of literary criticism and personal reflection, offers a unique immersion into the world of Aragon and the defenders of eternity. Publication date: March 1, 2025.
