Cristina Botta
Cristina Botta was born in Turin, Italy, in 1973, where she still lives. A graduate of the Vittorio Veneto Art School, she attended the DAMS (University of Art, Music and Performing Arts) in Bologna, and then studied oil painting techniques in the studio of Alberto Cottignoli, a painter in Ravenna. She also learned the Japanese raku ceramic technique, with which she created several sculptural works. For several years now, she has devoted herself primarily to watercolor painting, creating black and white portraits, and writing poetry.
