Olivier Milingo

Olivier Milingo was born in Paris on December 25, 1970. From his teenage years, he was passionate about literature and discovered a love for music, drawing, comics, and film. He began writing his first poems very early, quickly followed by song lyrics, short stories, screenplays for short films, and finally his first novel, a mystery and fantasy tale. "No worries, boss!" For Olivier, books are sources of adventure, escape, and emotion. He loves originality, surprising and enchanting his readers through his stories.

In Reptilewood, the upscale suburb of New Reptile Town, Eva Levaran, a monitor lizard and famous star presenter of Reptile Studios' television programs, has disappeared. Lieutenant Columboski, a grumpy, cane-toad-bachelor, a complainer, a complainer, an alcoholic, and a racist, is assigned to the case. Captain Debbie, the iguana chief of the Police Department, reluctantly partners him with Hutchie, a sarcastic, energetic young lizard who graduated with honors from the police academy. The two form an unlikely and improbable duo, like a whiteface clown and an auguste, and begin an investigation in a world populated by crocodilians, amphibians, iguanas, monitor lizards, and turtles, all living like humans but retaining their species-specific characteristics. A story full of surprises, twists, and red herrings. A reflection on our environment, with a mix of fantasy, strangeness, humor, references and nods to cult film and television characters.
