Pierre Cazaux-Ribère
For many years, Pierre Cazaux-Ribère has pursued parallel work in photography and writing. As a photographer, he has produced numerous exhibitions. For the theater, he wrote *L'ami américain* (The American Friend), which premiered on stage in 2011. In 2016, this road movie was adapted into a book combining text and photographs. The play was then revived by the Théâtre de l'Anaphore (Saintes) in 2018. *À son corps défendant* (Against His Will) is his second novel.
It's not enough to be born to become who you will be. You must first take possession of yourself, of your body. Discover yourself. Tame yourself. Distinguish yourself. Endowed with a clitoris rather than a penis, would I still have been myself? Publication date: December 2, 2024 Order
