For many years, Pierre Cazaux-Ribère has been working on images and writing in parallel. As a photographer, he has produced numerous exhibitions. For the theater, he wrote L'ami américain, which premiered on stage in 2011. In 2016, this road movie was transformed into a book combining text and photographs. The show was revived by the Théâtre de l'Anaphore (Saintes) in 2018. À son corps malgré lui is his second novel.
