Jean-Pierre Klein, born on June 28, 1939 in Paris, is a psychiatrist, psychotherapy researcher, essayist, and playwright, and a central figure in the theorization of art therapy in France. An explorer of the inner workings of the psyche, he directs INECAT, the National Institute for Training in Artistic Mediation and Art Therapy.
