Jean-Pierre Klein, born June 28, 1939 in Paris, is a psychiatrist, psychotherapy researcher, essayist, and playwright. He is a central figure in the theorization of art therapy in France. An explorer of the innermost reaches of the psyche, he directs INECAT, the National Institute for Training in Artistic Mediation and Art Therapy.
