But what fueled the child's desire to invent future mysteries were the comics that sketched the future of the Earth (Meteor, Sputnik, Sidereal, Future World, Adventures Fiction, etc.) As a teenager, he migrated from the city of the Atomium to the city of CERN. Geology introduced him to the dizzying Nature of bygone eras. But, after these scientific studies, he branched out into the world of literature, which further fueled his prospective imagination. He married a migrant from Fribourg in Geneva. Together, they have a daughter who has moved to Wonderland. A professor of literature, many authors have inspired him. Among them are Paul Morand, Bulgakov, Adamek (for novels), Borges and Yourcenar (for short stories), Tardieu (for theater), Michaux (for poetry). His model of humorous observation of human beings was bequeathed to him by the filmmaker Jacques Tati.
