Jean-Michel Guyot
JM Guyot was born in 1958 in Besançon. He studied German studies at the University of Besançon and then at the University of Strasbourg. He began by publishing various prose poems in the journals Inédit Nouveau and Verso. Passionate about poetry and music, since 2009 he has published numerous essays, stories, and poems in the Revue d'art et littérature, musique, edited by Patrick Cintas, and with Editions du Chasseur Abstrait, two collections of poems as well as two series of essays devoted to poetics and various musical genres.
In the clay of nascent curves, far from any stylistic dryness or linguistic approximation, JM Guyot's poems bring us into contact with a singular poetry, navigating with the passion and momentum of those who set sail for long, unfinished voyages, endlessly begun anew, of those who "know" the Sea by heart and "by body."
