Jean Pierre Gavini taught mathematics in preparatory classes for engineering schools at the Lycée François Premier in Fontainebleau. He is now retired and lives in the Var region. A passionate fan of crime fiction, he writes short stories, tales, and novels.

Three years after a traumatic experience on a Mediterranean cruise, Vincent Durieux lives a vagrant life, hunted by the mysterious client of an unscrupulous private investigator.
