Three months before the municipal elections in Juvigny, a Parisian suburb, Commissioner Budowski is tasked with investigating a murder that looks like a political plot to bring down the Mayor. The designated culprit is none other than Antoine Malherbe, a flamboyant lawyer and son of the mayor, caught in a family drama that conveniently resurfaces from the past with the murder. Perhaps too much, for Budowski. The seizure of a million euros worth of Beatles collectibles from the deceased's home reinforces the guilt of the ideal suspect, whose resemblance to John Lennon is pushed to the point of maniacal identification. Thus begins an encounter with the ghosts of Beatlemania that will lead the commissioner to the forbidden story of Lennon's madman.
