Marie Hourtoule

Marie Hourtoule is a journalist specializing in foreign policy. She inherited a passion for art from her father, a painter. From her mother, an organic farmer ahead of her time and an excellent cook, she inherited a taste for good produce and a love of literature. From Gabon to South Africa, from Kenya to Rwanda, from Cameroon to Chile, eight years of expatriation have given her a taste for unusual encounters. After creating and developing Guidiplo, an economic diplomacy tool, with the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, she is currently directing the editorial staff of a collection of economic reports entitled Yearbook, presenting the opportunities emerging countries offer to investors. She is also Vice President of Cercle Africa, a young association whose mission is to encourage economic development and international solidarity by supporting innovative projects on the African continent.
