Aurore Boesch

Born in Chaumont, Haute-Marne, Aurore Boesch, 39, cultivates her love of the imagination through her paintings and writings, inspired by Hayao Miyazaki, Bernard Werber, Stephen King, Quentin Tarantino, and Tim Burton, among others. She writes mainly in the evening, preferably in rainy, autumnal weather, visualizing the book as a film or anime, and always with music playing in the background: mainly rock. Her paintings are a continuation of her books, sometimes even a fusion. She began writing in her childhood and found her imaginary country there, cultivating it year after year. Nature remains her primary source of inspiration: she spends hours contemplating the little things that surround us and is constantly inspired by various personal anecdotes, whether told or from news stories. She follows several courses: a literary Baccalaureate followed by training in Art History, then illustrator for children's books and finally herbalist. Passionate about mythology and history, and driven by art in all its forms, Aurore reveals a crazy world, punctuated by her dreams, where poetry, color, and music combine with words, giving readers a new perspective.
