In the shadow of words, images take shape, and behind the images lies the unspeakable. Creation questions our relationship to the world and to others, potentially revealing certain human, social, and ecological dead ends into which we are sinking. This work summons our shadow self, inviting us to question assumptions, to make room for doubt, and thus allow a glimmer of hope to emerge. So that anger may find its way to hope, must we not, now, give voice to our shared humanity?
