Before becoming a writer, Ann Charron had a decades-long career in international protocol and politics. She worked in the Prime Minister's Office and the Senate of Canada on protocol and international affairs. Retired from politics since 2016, she developed a passion for literature after writing her first book, *Une famille ordinaire*, a family biography. Her passion grew with the publication of her first novel, *Lucky Lady*, a story of sex, drugs, and disco.
