Jean-Louis Bruck

Alain MARC

A trained surveyor technician, JL Brück expanded his digital universe by delving into the world of writing through scenes adapted for the theater. As his taste for literature grew, he decided to write his first novel. His passion for history prompted him to begin his career as an author with a series of biographies dedicated to famous figures from French historical heritage such as Charlemagne, Joan of Arc, and Francis I. Serious works, certainly, but written with a pen dipped in an inkwell of humor. Then the pen took on a less facetious, more nuanced ink with the writing of a fantastic adventure followed by thrilling novels based on historical facts. With "POWATAWA, the twin sisters of the New World," JL Brück signs his seventh work.

When King Henry IV of France decides to relaunch the exploration of America, a young carpenter, passionate about adventure and discovery, embarks on a mission to colonize Acadia. Along with other adventurers with whom he forms a strong friendship, he discovers this New World and its inhabitants. During his stay, strewn with joys and dramas, he will meet twin sisters who will change his destiny. Release date: February 1, 2025 Order Press release
