Jean-Louis Bruck
A trained surveyor, JL Brück expanded his digital skills by immersing himself in the world of writing through scenes adapted for the stage. His love of literature growing, he decided to write his first novel. His passion for history led him to begin his writing career with a series of biographies dedicated to famous figures of French history, such as Charlemagne, Joan of Arc, and Francis I. These were serious works, certainly, but written with a pen dipped in humor. Then, his pen became less playful, more nuanced, as he wrote a fantasy adventure, followed by thrilling novels based on historical events. With "POWATAWA, the Twin Sisters of the New World," JL Brück presents his seventh book.
When King Henry IV of France decides to revive the exploration of America, a young carpenter, passionate about adventure and discovery, embarks on a mission to colonize Acadia. Alongside other adventurers with whom he forges strong friendships, he discovers this New World and its inhabitants. During his stay, filled with both joy and tragedy, he will meet twin sisters who will change his destiny. Publication date: February 1, 2025. Order Press release
