Born in 1951, Renée Caby comes from a modest background, but she always wanted to rise above her circumstances. A self-taught individual, she achieved her goals through hard work. She held several jobs: schoolteacher, secretary, founder of an IT services company which she ran for six years, adult education trainer… She ended her career as a human resources consultant (her most fulfilling experience). Her personal life is very rich: married, four children, and now eight grandchildren. After living in northern France, then in the Paris region, and again in northern France, she and her husband settled in Maine-et-Loire in 2013, upon their retirement.
