Michel François was born in Allier and studied in Vichy. As an adult, he worked for a local newspaper for 35 years around the Puy de Dôme region, in the field of communications. After devoting several years of his youth to the escape described in this book and by dint of recounting the episodes to those around him, he was strongly advised to activate it on paper. Thus, once retired and enjoying writing, he decided to return to the paths of his youth.
