Alex is a likeable young man who works as a maintenance worker at a Parisian research center. Although he's attractive to women, he lives alone with his mother and has few adventures. Kind and intelligent, he's also very nonchalant and content with his modest, monotonous life. Who would guess that he's hiding a secret? Endowed with two shadows, he possesses a healing gift and incredible sagacity: despite having no formal education, he can solve equations that no one has yet found the solution to, and he can sense the location of hidden objects… But he's careful not to talk about it, so as not to disturb his peaceful existence. That is, until the arrival of Sacha, a young researcher with whom he falls in love and whom he hopes to seduce by revealing his hidden talents. If he manages to win her heart, his confidences will set off a series of outlandish events that will make him famous worldwide and lead him to Egypt, then to the Amazon rainforest, and finally to a forced exile in Russia... Will he manage to escape, and what awaits him next? Told in an unpretentious style, this fast-paced and entertaining story will undoubtedly remind readers of the adventures of a certain Tintin...
