A rather peculiar samurai, accompanied by a hilarious yogini, wanders through modern Japan. At key stages of this initiatory journey, which takes us from temples to kendo dojos, haiku, accompanied by a few good glasses of sake, are exchanged, each with highly philosophical content. But these friendly little beetles—all ready to surpass their master—don't just talk about philosophy… For lovers of Japanese culture and those with a taste for romantic emotions, this collection of short poems, written in a lively style with a touch of wry humor, is tailor-made. It is high time now to go further, to leave France, Europe, our narrow visions of a dying world, and to think about galaxies. It is time for the next presidential election to be organized around Padmasambhava. We have seen enough of capitalism, conspiracy theories, identity politics, the decline of democracies, populism, tyranny, Marx, and Mao. Nothing good to be gained from that. So, a Padmasambhava president who would offer us the immensity of space on an infinite timeline where our consciousness would constantly evolve. A beautiful project, isn't it? Let's come back down to earth and simply hope that the poems and stories, both biting and funny, that pepper this work can open our hearts a little. Steps forward in the direction of this Unknown that compels us. Publication date: July 1, 2022. Order now
Konbini Connection, a humorous essay on the state of the world during the pandemic, was born from the exchanges between a French woman and a Japanese man, both cruelly confined. Beneath their sometimes funny and sentimental exteriors, these two mischievous students remain deeply concerned about issues more essential to our collective survival: the decline of democracies worldwide, the atrocities committed by communist China against Tibetans, Uyghurs, and Hong Kong, the destruction of the planet and animals by humans... One virus, yes, hides many others... They loved writing it. Publication date: July 1, 2021. Order now
